Delete your Corbica account
How to delete your Corbica account from the app or the web, what is removed, and what your landlord keeps.
Last reviewed 2026-09-25
You can delete your Corbica account yourself, at any time, from the Corbica app or from the website. You don't need to contact us, and you don't need to reinstall the app.
Delete it in the Corbica app (iPhone, iPad and Android)
- Open the Corbica app and sign in.
- Go to More → Delete my account.
- Type
DELETEto confirm. If your account has a password, enter it too.
Delete it on the web
- Sign in at corbica.com.
- Tenants: open My Profile. Property managers and staff: open Settings → Your account.
- Choose Delete my account, type
DELETE, and enter your password if your account has one.
Signed in with Google, Microsoft or Apple and have no password? Deletion works when you've signed in within the last 10 minutes. If it asks you to sign in again, do that and retry.
Can't sign in?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm who you are before deleting anything.
What deletion removes
As soon as you confirm:
- Every way to sign in is removed: your password, Google / Microsoft / Apple sign-in, passkeys and two-factor settings. Every open session on every device is signed out.
- Your devices stop receiving push notifications.
- The phone number and photo on your Corbica sign-in are erased.
- You can't sign back in to the deleted account.
If you don't currently rent from or own property with a landlord on Corbica, your name and email are erased too, and you appear as "Deleted user" anywhere you used to show up.
What your landlord keeps
Corbica is used by landlords and property managers to run their books. Deleting your account doesn't delete their records:
- Payments, charges, leases and the accounting behind them are kept. Landlords are required to keep financial records, so rent you paid stays on their ledger, attributed to "Deleted user" or, if you're still a current tenant or owner, to your name.
- If you still have an active lease or own a share of a property, your name and email stay on that landlord's records so the lease, rent roll and statements keep working. You still can't sign in.
- Information your landlord entered about you (for example, details on your tenant record or messages you exchanged) belongs to their records. To have them change or remove it, contact your landlord or property manager directly.
One exception
If you're the only administrator of a Corbica organization, you can't delete your account until someone else is an administrator. This stops an organization from being left with no one who can manage it. Make someone else an administrator on the Users page, then delete your account.
